Spelling/Word Work

We did not get to these blends this past week so they will be the focus for next week. They are sk, sc, sm. We will also work with some 3 letter blends. (scr, spr, str).

Some words are: skin, smug, scab, skip, smart, scoop, stripe, scrap, spray

Sight words: stop, ask, of, under, now

Writing

We will be finishing up some informational pieces before moving into opinion writing for the last trimester.

Math

We are moving around a little with addition and subtraction facts to 20, bar models, and place value. A huge Thank You to Mr. Doug for helping the kids in room 207 with their math facts. The practice with him is paying off. Almost everyone can finish all 36 problems in 5 minutes or less. So proud of their hard work!!
